  1. Order ARR19 Box and Whisker plots by duration

The box and whisker plot outputs order alphabetically. It would be useful if it ordered based on rainfall event duration instead.

  2. improve print functionality

The print functionality in ICM could be improved very much (printing to PDF files). It takes at the moment a lot of time and even then it is not possible to easily (and flexible) fit a selection to the chose page setup (size) for example. Or fit a complet network to the chose paper size.

Of course using snipping tool is a workaround sometimes, However this is not suitable in many cases.

To my opinion a package like ICM needs a working functionality to export results to PDF in a proper and nice manner for reporting.

  3. compatibility with WMTS servers

Compatibility with WMTS servers for the GIS layer control would be very urgent. Right now a lot of data is only to project from WMTS servers.

  4. Network overview window: split up of subcatchment areas with different runoff id

It would be very usefull to have in the Network Overview window a summation of the different subcatchment areas, sort by Runoff surface ID.

  5. Allow all objects (nodes, subcatchments etc) to be included within the ‘gauge’ objects used in the run window

In a simulation run window the user has the choice to use a selection list of 'gauged' objects. This is useful so as to provide the results of some objects more frequently, or to only save the results from some objects and not others, in order to keep simulation data sizes down. Currently only links can be 'gauged' objects. It would be beneficial to allow all objects to be 'gauged' as currently to save the results for 1 node requires saving all objects in the model.

(In addition, the 2D Zone is by far the most data hungry object, so…

  6. would like whether summer or winter event to be automatically exposed in sim title

would like whether summer or winter event to be automatically exposed in sim title so when undertaking RPA analysis for both summer and winter events this is exposed automatically rarther than having to rename sims prior to running RPA

  7. Export Max Flood Contours - Elevation

It would add value to ICM if users could export the Maximum Flood Contours as Elevations in the same way that we can for Depth. This would be particularly useful as currently Depth is the only property that be be exported as an ASCII Grid file.

It appears that the contour intervals used in the export is taken from the "Flood" theme. Perhaps under "Map Type" there could be options to add "Flood Elevation - Filled/Show Layers/Transparent/etc" and hence with a Flood Elevation map type chosen the Max Flood Contours could be exported as elevations.

  8. Show worst case analysis on long sections

I would like to be able to see the worst case across multiple simulations (highest water levels) along the 1d network when reviewing results. Essentially being able to visualize statistical report results in a long section.

  9. Statistic Report Batch Processing

As a use the ability to 'schedule' statistical reports would be extremely useful. currently if i'm generating a spill report on several overflows for a 10yr TSR series this can take several hours. The process effectively locks the software and prevents any other operation from been undertaken. This is highly inefficient and costly especially when optioneering if several iterations are needed. Shorter TSR's can be run in this case however even a year with several CSO's can take 20-30mins.

  10. Warning Messages in InfoSewer

Is there a way to stop the program from checking for this? InfoWater has the Engineering Validation Manager which allows the “rules check” to be toggled on and off.

The user does not want to see Negative Flow Warning messages in the RPT file of InfoSewer. You can get this warning if the flow does not converge for the advanced force main solution. It is a warning and not an indication the EPS simulation is faulty.

  11. Calculation of Pump Power in ICM

A pump curve and energy/efficiency curve can be input into the software however there is no way to output the energy used by the pump. South Gippsland Water were keen on understanding whether ICM could do this to report their energy efficiency baseline. This can be done in InfoWorks WSPro.

  12. Report InfoSWMM available capacity against theoretical flow for specified d/D

InfoSWMM provides Pipe/Conduit summary report with values for Max flow divided by "Full Flow". Here the "full flow" is based on Manning's equation for when the pipe is full. However as a sewer utility, we're not allowed to fill pipes. We must keep pipes below 80% full as a constant benchmark.
We'd prefer all our reports are compared against 0.8d/D instead of Full Flow.

  13. As an organisation we would like to export the data exposed in show details view

As an organisation we would like to export the data exposed in show details view in order to assist with reporting in relation disc storage/ utilisation i.e. ID associated with Model Group.
We store all our DAP models within a single Db so collecting manually is time consuming

  14. I want the Show Maxima function to apply to Pipe Shear Stress

Currently, the "Show Maxima" results button doesn't apply to pipe Shear Stress (calculated through QM, Quality Module).

It seems pipe Shear Stress is the only thing that Shear Stress is the only thing the "Show Maxima" results button doesn't apply to.

  15. Multiple river section results

It would be great if multiple river sections could be selected and if it was then possible to produce multiple object graphs from these and by extension do exports.

  16. As a user, I would like to be able to export node max stage for all different global storms when exporting to GIS in XPSWMM.

When exporting results to GIS, it should export all the storms that are selected, so that I don't need to manually extract the information and piece them together.

  17. User defined results fields

Can we have user defined results fields? these would allow us to generate time series results that could include the total flows from a series of subcatchments or the total flow going to a node. another example is where we are required to generate a WQ 'score' where the score is a combination of a number of water quality parameters. There would be implications for live modelling as well. We'd be comfortable with having to write a SQL to get what we need.

    RECEIVED  ·  pascal.lang responded

Thanks for this idea, while it can already be done for themes, extending this out for results generation sounds good. The assumption is that a retrospectively applied SQL to populate User Text 1 with the desired result isn’t sufficient for this requirement?

  18. Export 2D Result to Raster Grid of Depth and Hazard

  20. Expanded Arithmetic Functions in the Statistics Templates for Events

"We are exploring possibilities of doing some post-processing within Infoworks. Right now, we are looking for an option that would summarize CSO volume with an offset instead of threshold; i.e. instead of ignoring anything smaller than a threshold and counting everything greater than that as a whole we want it to subtract a certain amount"
