I would like improvements for ICM with SWMM engine
add ICM SWMM functionalities that are already available in ICM with regular engine
- Area take off
- Population data
- CN/Runoff coeff. lookup

Cross section result view: keyboard shortcuts to go upstream or downstream
In the cross section result view (showing the water level), in RS there was the possibility to go upstream or downstream with PageUp/PageDwn, in ICM you have to right click to move upstream or downstream

Possibility to turn off report windows
Now, when updating elements from ground model, extending cross sections, inserting an opening in a bridge… a report is displayed. This can be very annoying when building up a model and you have to click the report windows away. It would be useful to have an option to turn off these report windows.

RTC rules: order alphabetically
When copying rules, they appear in seemingly random order. When you have a lot of rules it can be very difficult to have an overview

Include regulator state in graph reports
this can only be done with custom graphs, would be easier in standard graphs for run comparison

Commit history for scenarios
Commit history for scenarios
Show an extra column in the commit history window to indicate how many scenarios exist in this version of the network. Ideally, there would be a button or column through which you can see the names of the scenarios for this network version.12 votes -

When moving a manhole, I would like to snap to drawing geometry

Retain decimal places when copying/pasting grid values
For most numerical values in a model, ICM can hold 8 decimal places. From the grid view, if you copy/paste a single cell value, the full set of decimal values are preserved. However, if you copy multiple cell values at once (e.g. an entire column), only the visible/display decimal places will be retained. For certain fields with combinations of large/small values and units, e.g. area values measured in hectares, or baseflow measured in l/s, basic copying/pasting values can result in a lot of precision being lost.
The work-around for this is to use SQLs to copy/paste/move values around, which ensures…

Built-in mapping capabilities, like PCSWMM and Civil 3D have
Other software has built-in background mapping capabilities for free, using OpenStreetMaps or Bing satellite/hybrid road maps for georeferenced models. The current capability of supporting WMS servers falls way too short and there are no free options available anymore.
This should have been included ages ago.

Compare WWG and TWG files
A tool to compare different WWG files and TWG files and report on the differences, similar to the Compare functionality for Networks.

Add Data Sets to InfoWorks
Add Data Sets to InfoWorks as one can do in InfoSWMM. Helpful when clients want to model alternatives scenarios and make last minute changes.

Scenario assigned 'official' ID numbers within software
I would like for scenario names to be prefixed with a built-in ID number, in the same way that model commits have official version numbers, and wastewater and trade waste profiles have ID numbers. ICM clearly tracks ID numbers behind the scenes, since it is able to keep the scenarios in the same order (rather than sorting them alphabetically or similar).
When specifying exactly which 'model' was used to produce a set of simulation results, it is necessary to specify network ID, version ID and scenario ID - so it would be helpful to be able to just point to…

ICM Template for printing muti-page Geoplan and Long Section views
I can already batch print geoplans and Long Sections by themselves. How to print them together? My current approach is to learn how to manipulate the output PDFs using PDF TK server, ghostscript, and potentially pdfjam, but some of these are new tools for me and I haven't yet made it work. Is there some way to do it using the Print Layout?
Current work in progress:
Batch printing geoplan
Save each spatial extents using Spatial Bookmarks
Set up print layout, then select batch print button from toolbar in the Print Layout
Geoplan showing each bookmark is saved on its…3 votes -
adjustments to a selected set of scenario's
In my opinion it would be very useful if you could make the same adjustments in one stretch for a selected set of scenario's. Similar to an adjustement you make in the base scenario that effects all the underlaying scenario's but than for a specific selection of scenario's. It would be handy to restore an error that occurs in several scenario's (scenario' that are all a copy from the same scenario)

Promote recently used flags
It would help if your recently used flags were promoted to the top of the flags list.
For example, I am updating flags for some manhole surveys (flagged "SM"). Alphabetically, SM is close to the bottom of the list which means I have to scroll to find the flag. For each manhole, I am probably updating 10-15 flags each time so removing the scroll element of the flag update would save some time and frustration.

RTC Debugging Interface and Support
It would be really useful to have a debugging module for the RTC components in InfoWorks ICM so that one can go step by step through a simulation to display in simulation RTC values-things like variable values (e.g. timers), range/logic values, active/deactivate rules and so on to make isolating RTC schemes simpler. This would be kind of like a debugging module for computer programming in languages such as VBA or C++ or perhaps another grid view. I also find that there are a lot of RTC concepts that we find our by trial and error and it would be useful…

Call the 'Total storage calculation' function from a ruby script and write the output into a csv-file
It would be a great feature to call the 'Total storage calculation' function from a ruby script and write the output into a csv-file.
If it is not possible to call the build-In function from ruby, it would also help to call the 'storage calculation function' from InfoWorks ICM UI for a set of nodes (maybe from a selection list) and write the output directly to csv-file(s).

Better performance and functionalities of the recycle bin
In a workgroup database, the Recycle Bin today is more a nuisance than a useful feature. When there are too many items in it, it can delay the connection to the database considerably or even make it impossible to connect. The functionalities for selectively restoring or removing items are also very poor. E.g. you cannot select on the user who deleted items, or find the original path in the database where items were deleted from. The only real use is when you accidentally delete something and restore it immediately, but then maybe a personalised recycle bin which only exists during…
