An error occurred while saving the comment AdminTony Andrews (Admin, Innovyze) commentedHello Richard - thank you for the suggestion. We have been looking at the integration of drainage design asset data from MicroDrainage and InfoDrainage with IAMobile as per ICM. I presented at the recent EMEA User Conference how IAManager and IAMobile can be used for the exact purpose you specify - confirming/updating as built - the BIM workflow. I am committed to building an importer from InfoDrainage to InfoAsset Manager. Hope this helps.

As you know we have enhanced the ability to create or update existing CCTV inspection records in InfoAsset Manager through the use of the "Import MSCC XML from attachments in selected surveys" tool which has also been scripted so that the method can be called via a Ruby script. The process of scheduling multiple inspections in InfoAsset Manager now supports the association to a Work Package. After completing each of these CCTV work orders in the field, one of them is then loaded with the WinCan generated XML and videos as attachments on the InfoAsset Mobile report. Once the CCTV work orders together with the XML file and inspection videos have been uploaded from the field to InfoAsset Manager, as long as the original InfoAsset work order inspection ID has been copied to the ClientDefined1 field in WinCan so that now the XML file contains the inspection id, InfoAsset Manager can update the original CCTV work orders with the meta-data and observation details using the attached XML file and move the videos to the correct CCTV inspection as an attachment. This is a really compelling workflow.

You can now drag and drop or select and add multiple items from Windows Explorer when adding files as attachments to an InfoAsset Mobile report.
This has been completed in v2021.1 released Nov. 2020.
The method utilizes the "Macro" component of the SQL in which you create variables representing the values you would like your user to enter in InfoAsset Online when running the SQL selection.
