1. As a user, when transmit a model in XPSWMM, I would like the externally referenced surface, soil and landuse also be packaged.

   In XPSWMM, when 2D data are referenced externally, they are not packaged when transmit the model

2. As an XPSWMM user, I would like to be able to import flow data from SWMM5 Inflow/outflow formats. So that I can import results from CUHP.

   For the latest versions of CUHP https://mhfd.org/resources/software/ , it is using the SWMM5 text inflow/outflows format for results. Therefore the old conversion tool in XPSWMM no longer works.

3. Export both the result and the underlying property fields

   When the model results are displayed on the webpage through Exchange, since the basic properties need to be viewed, the corresponding basic properties of the results need to be exported first, and then the results are matched to the basic properties according to the ID for display. It is hoped that the option of exporting the basic properties and results together could be added

4. Import HAZUS data into InfoWorks ICM Damage Functions

   HAZUS data can be accessed from the backend using MS SQL. Could an import function be added to ICM which would allow a connection to the database and import data as needed to create damage functions?

5. Better documentation on XPX/XPTABLES to map UI element to variables

   I would like for Innovyze to create a complete list of all the codes that can be used in XPX or XPTables, with descriptions of how they are used, and/or make it very easy to find out what those codes are.

   For example, NKLASS is used in XPX to change the conduit shape. In XPX, the NKLASS codes are just numbers that correspond to particular shapes. To figure out which number is which takes making a dummy model . I was hoping that you have a full data definition somewhere that tells what all these things are.

   In XPTables, however, NKLASS shows up with various text possibilities (Circular, Rectangular, etc.). A full listing of those text values would be helpful if someone is developing a database for data import/export.

   Then there are some odd things like “Height of Rectangle” in XPTables. I’m not sure what that means or does, or where I might find/change it in the GUI. My thought about how XPTables is set up would be that the dialog would mirror the dialogs that you use in the GUI. Perhaps that could be a separate way to find things, with its own tree (Find By GUI), and keep the current one for those of us that already know where things are with the current system.

   For Conduits, there might be a separate path for “Multi-Conduit” and “Single Conduit”, but once you open the conduit editor in MultiConduit, it seems to just be a copy of Single.

   Inside the ‘conduit’ dialog, the ‘depth’ entry is probably used for several of the sub-dialogs, and it should be present in each. If the user adds it to XPTable twice, perhaps the second entry could have a warning ‘you are adding a duplicate copy of “DEPTH”, do you want two copies? (Yes, Keep Original Location, Replace Original at this Location)

   Finally, some logical sorting of the values in the XPTables list would be helpful. Either alphabetically or by type (shape, height, width together), US/DS flowline together, etc. The list below is just odd, and in an order that doesn’t make sense. Why is “Name” between “US Name” and “DS Name”? US/DS Crown Elevation seem to be calculated values that can’t be edited. While those are nice to know and might be useful sometimes, they should be noted separately or identified somehow, so that if a user is trying to create a table for editing values, they can avoid them.

6. I would like to create a template for model import from GIS to XPSWMM

   When you go exchange data from GIS to XPSWMM you need to find all the fields you want each time and rename all the field for GIS compatibility. I would like to create a standard template once and use that template for each model and each time I need to exchange data. I may even create smaller templates to import catchments, hydrology data, and networks separately.

8. Interface Utility export efficiency

   Hi Paul,

   Can I make a suggestion regarding the InterfaceUtils.exe utility?

   Seeing that we are now dealing with considerably more rainfall data associated with ARR2016/2019 rainfall & temporal patterns, can Innovyze (or whoever created the abovementioned utility) look at updating the executable such that one doesn’t have to browse for a particular file in the “File name” field. As an alternative, it would be handy if we had the option to simply update the file name manually in the “File name” field and press a “reload button”. Furthermore, it would also be beneficial if there was an additional function to choose the previously chosen catchment and results parameters.

   As it is, the “File Name” field can be manually updated but it does not reload the file.

   An update to the utility as indicated above will make the process of exporting results quicker and more efficient.

9. ICM - Import of .XP files

   Current workflow for importing a XPRAFTS or XPSWMM/XPSTORM model into ICM is to export the XP model to a .XPX file. This is problematic as a user will need to own a XP licence to complete this step and is not always the case. This is particularly an issue for those that wish to update or migrate XPRAFTS models as the software is no longer being sold.

10. Run a SQL Query that requires sim and sim2 to be active from ICM Exchange

    I would like to run a SQL query from ICM Exchange that requires two simulations to be active. I would like to be able to call multiple simulations simultaneously from Exchange.

11. InfoSWMM from InfoSewer should allow the user to pick a scenario on import. It is a feature of InfoSWMM to convert an InfoSewer MXD and IE

    We only allow the user to import the active scenario in InfoSewer. If a user does not have InfoSewer then he or she must guess which is the active scenario. It would better to have a dialog to allow the user to import their selected and needed scenario.

12. Support for different table schemas from SQL Server in the TSDB

    We have a SQL Server database containing flow survey and rainfall data. All of the raw data is saved in one table and views are created for each monitor via a stored procedure,

    We use schemas to control permissions on the database tables. Only the database owner can add or delete to the raw table (dbo schema) while any user can read from the views ("user interface" schema).

    Currently, TSDB can see tables in any schema but can only read from those in the default (dbo) schema. Therefore, an error happens when trying to read from a view that has the "user interface" schema.

    Putting the views into the default schema limits the users that can update TSDB

    It would be nice if TSDB could support other schemas from SQL Server.
