Printing Critical Storm pipes Results in ascending order.
When presenting Critical Storm simulation calculations to the LLFA/Sewage undertaker, they must be in pipe code order, for example, 1-1.000-1-1.012. So from the top to the bottom of the network. One of your support staff informed me that when printing reports, the simulation results are printed in pipe creation order rather than ascending order. I need to be able to print in ascending order.

Output flow controls details
When presenting results to be checked/reviewed either internally or by client or LPA/LLFA, you have to present details of orifices, hydrobrakes, etc so that they can understand what items are in there. In InfoDrainage because flow controls are not a seperate item type, the only way to present that information is to output every single "outlet" on the scheme.
On a large scheme, that means that my results file can be three or four pages of dozens of lines of "outlet = pipe", and about two or three actually relevant items hidden somewhere in the middle.
It would be great…

PDF output Data sheets - Same as MicroDrainage
Have a setting when printing results to output in the same or similar style as MicroDrainage. Options to display certain storms, critical storm by differing criteria, and summaries of pipelines, manholes and other data

Why does InfoDrainage deafult to showing you the Stormwater Controls summary, and only the Stormwater Controls summary, when a model finishes running?
This occurs even if the Stormwater Controls are fine but the Junctions are showing flooding.
I mean, I know you can manually check all the other results summaries, but why doesn't InfoDrainage either open them all or choose the most critical one?

We believe that stormwater controls are the most critical element of the drainage design. Hence we show the results of SWCs as soon as the simulation is finalised.
Users can/should check the rest of the model to ensure that there aren't any bottlenecks in the system.
It might be feasible to implement a dropdown menu within the SWC results so we can still show results from SWCs, but we make it easier for users to jump to different screens and check the inflows, connections and junctions.
Would the above address what is required for this case?

InfoDrainage 2023.3 Quick Storage Estimate Print Outs
Please can a function to print out the quick storage estimates and results summary be made available. Whilst they should only be used for concept designs, it would be useful to have this information for record to show the design process

Please can the output drawings be able to be produced in landscape.
When using the extend view to produce drawings it appears to be only able to undertake in portrait. Also the title block cannot be changed in size which can make the drawings untidy. Finally can there be an option to move the lables around so they do not clash.
3 votesYou can scale the labels in InfoDrainage from the display setting to ensure that they do not clash.
Does the above address your suggestion re moving labels?

Formatting of Reports
The output reports from Infordrainage, are not set to fit the page and as such, there is a lot of "white space" left on the outputs. At present, there are no formatting options to change this. It makes the drainage report look a bit untidy.

Manhole Schedule Numbering
For MH tables and report outputs, it would be good to have an option to report chronologically, e.g. 1-30.
I understand it numbers them on the first Manhole built in the model however I think it would make more sense to go from shallowest to deepest, e.g. U/S to D/S. As is quite common in design additional MHs need to be incorporated further into the model due to clashes or change in direction etc, so it would be best if all outputs and MH tables followed the numerical order.9 votes -
Provide Enhanced Manhole Schedule Details
It would be great to have the option of providing an additional level of customisable detail which could be configured on MH Schedules.
As an example including practical details around the cover – contractors want to know and see more from a MH schedule when out on site.
Examples of details around the type of cover:
Cover Size
Opening Size
Recessed
Solid Top
Loading ClassCurrently this level of additional detail is often added manually to MH schedules exported from software.

Assess scenarios based on annual water balance (runoff, infiltration, evaporation)
Assessment of the annual water balance is an important criteria to evaluate drainage design at neighbourhood level.
Functionality to assess scenarios in a chart (similar to typical pre-urban vs. urban) would save time in GIS-postprocessing2 votes -

"Copy to clipboard" alongside print/export on Microdrainage spreadhseet input/outputs
Would greatly simplify the process of getting results/details from MD into a report, skipping a stage in the current process (Export to CSV/Excel - Open)

Print Tickbox for Manhole Schedule Layout option
In MicroDrainage 2019.1 the Manhole Schedule printout also includes a manhole layout, sometimes this is unnecessary and it would be helpful if there was an additional tickbox option in the printout settings.
