Great ideas! The goal is the simplify the physical location to either measured (as-built) or designed locations of pond outfalls, while either logically enforcing the relationship of outfalls to pond/outlet without forced links that do not represent physical pipes.

Thanks for this, I assume that as long as the end goal of being able to trace a significant number of sources through the 2D is met this would be sufficient? As in it is not actually pollutants you wish to be able to trace but rather the source of flows?

An error occurred while saving the comment ROBERT.DICKINSON commentedPerhaps a way to read the older OUT files from EPA SWMM in the SWMM simulation engine? There have been over 35 versions of EPA SWMM5 and we use the current version of EPA SWMM5 in the simulation engine.
An error occurred while saving the comment ROBERT.DICKINSON commentedThis may be hard as the SWMM engine in ICM has to be able to work with all of the bells and whistles of the ICM GUI or UX. There are also about 35 SWMM5 versions but certain ones such as SWMM 5.0013 are more important historically.

I will mention that in SWMM software you can have a bottom orifice.
