Update user defined vortex controls in ICM so hydrobrake head discharge curves can be modelled
Current user defined vortex controls don't accept head discharge curves where the discharge reduces for increasing head i.e. what happens in a hydrobrake. It would be useful to get this updated to ensure consistency between ICM and drainage design.

Drag and drop ruby
The ability to drag and drop ruby scripts from the file system into the ICM window in order to execute them.
This will not only be useful for day to day use of using ruby scripts but will also be useful for 3rd party (and open source) applications like InfoLab
https://github.com/sancarn/InfoLab
Currently in order to inject ruby scripts into the UI we have to use open up Network tab and execute the "Run Ruby Script" button's default action. Creating a drop event onto ICM would be significantly easier and is extremely easy to implement (a few hours)

'Find and Replace Flags' tool on multiple networks.
As a large organisation with multiple users of InfoWorks ICM we have a set up with one masterdatabase and everyone using groups off this in order to keep all users on the same version. The downside is, that as users import previous models more flags get added, which are now obsolete in our current specification leading to hundreds of flags in the masterdatabase. It is not practicable to use the find and replace flags tool on each network individually, if this feature was expanded to be able to use on multiple networks, it would make administering our model flags much…

Statistic Report Batch Processing
As a use the ability to 'schedule' statistical reports would be extremely useful. currently if i'm generating a spill report on several overflows for a 10yr TSR series this can take several hours. The process effectively locks the software and prevents any other operation from been undertaken. This is highly inefficient and costly especially when optioneering if several iterations are needed. Shorter TSR's can be run in this case however even a year with several CSO's can take 20-30mins.

As a user, I would like to be able to export node max stage for all different global storms when exporting to GIS in XPSWMM.
When exporting results to GIS, it should export all the storms that are selected, so that I don't need to manually extract the information and piece them together.

Enable remote simulations with state files without local agent being active
When running (very) long time series, we often split up simulations in shorter blocks and link them via final/initial states (mainly to prevent total loss of results in case something happens near the end of the simulation, and to make results more manageable). However, when we schedule such a "chain of simulations" to remote server and also have the results stored remotely, the chain is still interrupted as soon as the local agent from where they were launched is stopped (e.g. because the local pc is shutdown). As the whole chain can take days or weeks to run, this is…

Allow to import generic (geo)TIFF into Spatial TSDB
Currently the only GeoTIFF standard supported in ICM Spatial TSDB is the MeteoGroup standard. But some Authorities in Germany deliver rainfall data as generic TIFF.
It would be nice to extend the import feature to a generic GeoTIFF format.11 votes -

Have all the functionality available in the 'Manage scenarios' dialogue in the ICM, to also be available via ICM Exchange
Options such as 'Reintegrate' & Duplicate'

Speed up the creation/amending of ICMTs
Creating or amending ICMTs is slow, especially if they contain ground models. Even deleting or creating new 'folder' items in ICMTs is slow. Speeding this process up would increase productivity.

Collapsing walls identified in the log file
Can we have the status of base linear structures included in the log file? I have a large model where I have lots of these and I need to interrogate each one in turn. It would be much easier if the log file (or, better still, a grid view) showed the status of each wall.

Automatically add network details when copying a network from commit history
When a version of a network is copied via the commit history dialog box, the standard commit detail generated is "created from copy". Could this be extended by automatically inserting the original network name and version number ? It would help a lot in retracing the network history.

Hyperlinks to specific pages not just files/documents
When adding hyperlinks to features within the properties, enable the ability to link to a specific page within the document itself rather than just a folder location or document opening on the first page.

Support for Hong Kong Observatory Rainfall Data
The Hong Kong Observatory is the authority responsible for producing observed and forecast rainfall data for the territory. Their data is produced in a format not currently supported in ICMLive so we have to convert it into shape files to be used. Direct reading of this data would enable both more efficient data loading processes as well as reducing the potential for errors.

Only update interpreted points on Bank Line when updating from Ground Model
When updating bank lines from ground model it would be useful to have an option was available to only update the interpreted points, therefore retaining vertices heights from cross sections and surveyed points. Or an option to easily delete the interpreted points, so they can be updated.

WBNM Hydrology Method in ICM
Australian flood modelling user have requested access to the WBNM hydrology method inside InfoWorks ICM. WBNM is one of the endorsed methods in Australian Rainfall & Runoff and large numbers of historical studies use this method.

RORB Hydrology Method in ICM
InfoWorks ICM currently has the RAFTS Hydrological Routing method, but as a flood modelling user, I would like access to the RORB method as an option inside ICM. It is a similar method to RAFTS and would help endorsement of the software where RORB hydrology is a requirement.

Automated Calibration Tool
Tool similar to competing software where you can apply a level (%) of uncertainty and automatically sun simulations with varied parameters withing that level of uncertainty and see all results at once.
