TSDBs to produce logs of SQL queries
This is important to assist troubleshooting issues related with TSDB performance during implementation and maintenance of TSDBs. The log should include the exact queries produced by their streams when data is updated.

Storage area polygons
Storage nodes often represent detention basins or other locations with large areas. Pipes enter/leave from opposite sides. With the standard link/node configuration, one or more link will be mis-configured compared to the actual location.
I have long wanted to have a storage area polygon, with links connecting to the nearest edge, rather than the center.
6 votesGreat ideas! The goal is the simplify the physical location to either measured (as-built) or designed locations of pond outfalls, while either logically enforcing the relationship of outfalls to pond/outlet without forced links that do not represent physical pipes.

More gems available ICM Exchange that allow for a better user interface (shoes, tk, RubyFX, etc.)
I would like more gems to be available within ICM Exchange that allow for a better end-user experience with ICM Exchange (not command line prompts). The specific gems I would reccomend are shoes, tk, and RubyFX - or any other gems that have applications for user interface

ICM Status bar to show more significant figures
The status bar currently only displays levels (ground model level, water depth) to 1 decimal place. 2 Decimal places would be much more useful, Especially to ensure a node is at a low point or in the gutter invert..

Assign Channel shape from ground model using cross section
In ICM I can sample elevations from ground model to cross section line and use that for river reaches, but sometimes I just want to use simple Channel links or maybe I'm using the SWMM engine which doesn't have rivers.
I want to pull the channel shape profile from a cross section line on the map to quickly configure simple 1D storm systems.

Infoworks ICM- Sewage Temperature Modelling and Heat Losses
The following features should be added to Infoworks ICM for modelling temperature impacts for Heat extraction or heat insertion projects:
- Sewage temperature to be added in WWG file as a pollutograph parameter and can also be defined in a diurnal pattern to consider trade temperature profiles
- I&I temperatures can be extra entered
- Linear heat losses can be defined for standard pipe configurations towards an equilibrium temperature
- Temperature mixing at each node, based on WQ simulation engine
- Heat extraction or insertion possible at any model node10 votes -
Calculating volume storage on river reaches
In the application of ICM, we often count the regulation volume of river channels. But at the moment we can only calculatethe total available volume of channels/river reaches between two cross sections by using length and cross sectional areas. If the number of river sections is very large in the model,it will take a lot of time and effort to accomplish this work. It would be great to have the tool to calculate volume storage on river reaches automatically.

Run a SQL Query that requires sim and sim2 to be active from ICM Exchange
I would like to run a SQL query from ICM Exchange that requires two simulations to be active. I would like to be able to call multiple simulations simultaneously from Exchange.

Allow user to set number format in ICM grid windows
It would be great if a user could set number formats in InfoWorks ICM grid windows. For example, we are calibrating a large diameter pipeline by adjusting Manning's n values. We are using 5 digits after the decimal place, but ICM only shows 4 digits. When I copy from the grid, it only copies 4 digits after the decimal. So I have to use a csv export to see the actual values. Or at least set Manning's n values to 5 digits after the decimal place.

Add Date Properties to Scenario Objects (Ruby)
This would add a
date_created
ordate_last_committed
field to Scenario Objects in theWSApplication.current_network
.It could be used to delete (or archive) old scenarios.
For example, this would allow users to write a ruby script that can loop through and delete any scenarios greater than 3 years old.

Get the elapsed time of the simulation in ICM Exchange
It is not possible to get the information of the Job Control window with the current ICM Exchange, but it would be very useful to be able to create a dashboard using ICM Exchange to manage simulations and coordinators.

Statistic Report Batch Processing
As a use the ability to 'schedule' statistical reports would be extremely useful. currently if i'm generating a spill report on several overflows for a 10yr TSR series this can take several hours. The process effectively locks the software and prevents any other operation from been undertaken. This is highly inefficient and costly especially when optioneering if several iterations are needed. Shorter TSR's can be run in this case however even a year with several CSO's can take 20-30mins.

Assign InfoWorks Agent Groups by hostname prefix or wildcard
The InfoWorks Agent coordinator settings allow simulation machines to be grouped by hostname. However, when using Azure virtual machine scale sets (and likely other similar auto scaling cloud environments) a preconfigured hostname includes an incremental suffix (00001, 0000A...FFFFF) that cannot be predetermined. It would be useful if it was possible to assign machines to groups using just the initial characters of the hostname (without the suffix) or by using a wildcard.

Show water levels at Bridge Linear Structures
We would like to see the water levels at the bridge linear structures as it is important for us to be able to see the water levels with respect to the bridge openings and decks.

Updating a model in ICM Live is overly complicated and currently results in loss of data from previously ran simulations
The current process to update a model in ICM live is overly complicated and is currently not simple to grasp. This currently requires the removal of all runs from a particular manifest before you can remove and update the model being used. A simpler way to do this would be beneficial, including a methodology which does not require the removal of earlier simulations as this is not immediately obvious that this is a requirement . Ideally this process should be made easier in future releases. Thanks

Include NSW specific data to ARR Storm Generator
The state of NSW provides additional data that supersedes the pre-burst and Initial loss data provided in the data downloaded through the Data Hub. As a user I would like the option to easily modify the pre-burst rainfall applied to the from of the storms based on this information.

ICMLive Viewer Licence
The ICM licence does not allow for the contents of Live groups to be seen. This has implications for the viewer licence. I would like to be able to access (but not edit) the contents of a live group. Can there therefore be an ICMLive Configuration Manager Viewer LIcence?
